Azizulah Karzai has been the Afghan Ambassador to Russia since 28 August, 2010.
Azizulah is member of the powerfull Karzai-clan and an uncle of current Afghan President Hamid Karzai. Before the Taliban regime he was Afghan's Ambassador to Poland. He is considered the family's expert on tribal maneuvering. [1] During the United States attack on Afghanistan in November 2001, he said: "Tribalism is more dangerous than the Islamic fundamentalism of the Taliban because it runs throughout Pashtun society." [2].
After the fall of the Taliban regime Karzai was appointed Afghan's Ambassador to the Czech Republic. He later became aid to the Afghan Foreign Minister and Ambassador to Saudi Arabia.[3] [4] Since 2010 he is Afghans Ambassador to Russia.
